Digging Deeper
Likes: You, me, and everyone else. The inter-aspects of pokemon and philosophy.
Dislikes: People who try and stop her goals, her enemies, some of her job requirements.
Fears: Losing her pokemon, the though of commitment, encountering high authority.
Goals: To at least get a medal for her work, make her pokemon the happiest and strongest, not to screw up anything.
Overall Personality: Stacey is a high-stakes kind of girl. For some tasks she'll take the most risky way, especially if it reaches the most important goal in its finish. She's careful through it, trying to find the best plan, even though most of her plans aren't the best. She tries her best, though clumsiness has a habit of getting in the way. She's never broken anything important, though. At least... not too important.
While she considers herself the strong-willed girl, she often finds herself feeling like the damsel-in-distress and in need of rescue. Eventually she gets out of it, one way or another, but it's not too hard for trouble to find her. While she won't be the kind of girl you'll meet after she stumbled down the hill or in a harsh run, it's not too hard to find her on her bike, being it her most cherished one.
While she's never the one to take a good scolding lightly, she learns from her mistakes quite quickly.
History: Stacey, born and raised in Lavender Town, was brought up in that age old modern family. It was when she had turned ten that she was excited, like all children, to go out and explore with a new charmander or squirtle. It was unfortunate when she was told by her parents that she was too young for it. They wanted to wait until she was at least a teenager. Of course, Stacey wasn't happy about it, and though she fought, she eventually had to give in to keep her wait a short as possible. Her parents had threatened to lengthen the wait.
After a good time of complaining to her friend Jeremy, he told her about a group called Team Rocket that would let her get her own pokemon right now and her parents didn't even have to know. Of course, she was excited, and without hardly a question she wanted in. Jeremy didn't think it was legit, but she didn't care. As long as there was hope. It was in a week that he told her they would go meet the kid who'd told him about it. She couldn't wait for that week. When it came, she was led to the home of an older boy named Gracen wo gave her the whole inside on it. Again, without asking a question, Stacey agreed to all of it. Jeremy wasn't so sure, but decided to go with Stacey.
It was then that they were in, and in the team's small development, inclusion was almost instant. She wouldn't get her pokemon yet, though. She wanted it then and then she would have it. It was a great while of badgering and refusal before Gracen, merciful then, allowed her to get her own pokemon so long as she never used it outside of Rocket affairs or traded it. Agreeing to it quickly, Stacey was allowed to pick from a long list of pokemon and her final choice, after careful decision was a lapras.
With contracts signed two weeks later and work officially starting, Stacey was assigned to be the pupil of Professor Henderson, a younger, more creative scientist in his late-forties who, though adventurous, was stern. He took none of her complaints about the pokemon she never obtained, and made her work until she forgot about it completely. She was in for life he always told her. It felt like it too. But four weeks later her lapras arrived! She instantly wanted to tell everyone, but knew she couldn't, which saddened her. It was still a secret from her parents. It all was.
Now thirteen, her parents are allowing her to get her "first" pokemon and her good behavior and grades (she began to pay more attention in class to keep her work in her field more accurate). With bags packed she plans to tackle the route to Pallet Town with fervor, all the while deciding on which pokemon to add to her journey.
Name: Lapras
Type: Water/Ice
Gender: Male
Species: Lapras
Level: Nine
Ability: Shell Amror
Moves: Dragon Pulse, Water Gun, Confuse Ray, Mist
Personality: Lapras is a usually quiet pokemon, though protective. When something is in the presence of the pokemon long enough he tends to claim it as his own and will not allow any other to attempt to do so. While Laparas may try and become controlling he generally listens to those around him that he's familiar with. He's not afraid to fight if he has to, and may do so if another pokemon is being particularly annoying or attacks him first. While usually the pokemon couldn't care to jump into a fight, he seems to start a lot of the ones he gets into.
Origin: Orange Archipelago
