[/size]General Rules
- 1. Please be respectful to all members, no matter how annoying or rude they may become.
- 2. Never argue with the staff; however, if the staff are being very unfair, you have the right to report them to the head admin or to argue.
- 3. No double posting. This gets annoying, and it will make OOC and IC threads confusing.
- 4. Absolutely no spam (Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages).
- 5. Advertise only in the correct board.

Character Rules
- 1. You may have as many characters as you can handle. Please keep them all on one account. If you wish to have one account per character, then please inform the head admin before creating another account.
- 2. Characters can have oddly-colored hair. Think about the games and anime. There are people running around with green, blue, pink, and purple hair, and it is all natural! So, this means that it doesn't matter what the hair color is. The same goes for eye color; however, please do not have any rainbow hair/eyes. Seriously, do you want your character looking like a clown?
- 3. All characters must start out in Pallet town so that they can start their journey by getting a Pokedex and a starter (unless that character is already starting out with a Pokemon). If your character is a Gym Leader, Elite Four member, or a Pokemon Professor at the Pokemon Laboratory, you may start out wherever you wish.
- 4. When creating your charcter's biography, trainers and coordinators can only 'import' one Pokemon of their choosing to start out with. This means that they can have a Pokemon that they are starting out with in which they captured/gained them from a different even other than the Pokemon Lab (they still have to go to the Pokemon Lab to get their Pokedex, however). These Pokemon can be anything not on the banned list, and they have to be only between levels five and ten, unless given special permission from the head admin. Breeders can start out with two Pokemon not on the banned list in order to get their job going. These Pokemon can infant Pokemon (LV1-10) or adult Pokemon (LV 20-30); however, these Pokemon cannot be used in battles other than contest battles; however, any breeded or captured Pokemon may be used in battles. Gym Leaders and the Elite Four can have up to six Pokemon that they start out with. At least three of the Gym Leader's Pokemon have to go with the type for their gym, and those Pokemon will be used for Gym battles. A Gym Leader's Pokemon that are used in Gym battles need to stay around the level range for their Gym. Elite Four can have up to six Pokemon in their team. All of their Pokemon need to have the same type in them for Elite Four battles. This doesn't mean they all have to be the exact same type. Their Pokemon can have more than one type. Their Pokemons' levels should range around LV49 to LV65. Only the Champion, who can have whatever type of Pokemon they wish to use in battle, can start out with anything over that. Team Rocket members can have up to three imported Pokemon. The boss gets to have the most-powerful/highest-level Pokemon. The Elite Officers get the second most-powerful and so on. The grunts have the least-powerful, and their Pokemon are normally Ratatta and its evolution, Zubat and Golbat, etc.

Roleplay/Battle Rules
- 1. Try to keep post order unless a person needs to have immediate action (Answering a question, battling, etc.).
- 2. Do not control another person's character. This is power-play, and power-playing is strictly forbidden.
- 3. Do not make yourself invincible in battles, your Pokemon unrealistically strong, or having your Pokemon able to dodge every attack. This is god-modding, and it is not tollerated. The only Pokemon allowed to 'god-mod' is Arceus-sama, though he has an excuse from the life plates.
- 4. Do not land an automatic hit on an opponent in battle. This is also considered power-play.
- 5. Do not have a legendary/shiny/very rare/very powerful Pokemon if it wasn't won in a contest or gained by promos.
- 6. Be realistic when battling, which means a Caterpie is never going to defeat a Charizard, unless the Charizard only has a small amount of health points left.
- 7. When battling, you should know what types of moves effect your Pokemon more and less than other would. You do not have to keep up with health points, just be realistic when your Pokemon is hit with a move. It is sort of like in the anime. All Pokemon faint sooner or later, even though you cannot see how much health they have. For those moves that have no affect at all, they just don't harm your Pokemon. With one-hit-KO moves, the other player desides whether it hits or not. One-hit-KO moves aren't too accurate, so do not be angered if the other Pokemon does not get hit.
- 8. The staff members will check on battle threads to make sure no rules are being broken. If we believe someone isn't battling fairly, we will intervene.
- 9. Any and all NPC Pokemon shall be roleplayed by staff members. You can say what Pokemon may be playing in that area or something, but you cannot battle with them. You may battle with them once a staff member comes to mod your thread. The same goes for those random trainers that run up to you demanding a battle.
- 10. All Gym Leaders, Professors, and Team Rocket members will be NPCs played by the staff until someone creates characters to fill those spots.
- 11. You can only use two moves max per Pokemon per battle post. These can be one offence and one defence, both defence, or both offence. With the 'both offence', you can combine your moves like they do in the anime (ex: ice aquajet).
